Shock Cannon

The Shock Cannon is a weapon used by several Zoids.

Overview

The Shock Cannon is a mid-range beam cannon. The first Zoid to equip this weapon was the Saber Tiger, but it has since been used on the vast majority of Liger-type Zoids and tends to be their primary ranged weapon. Shock cannons are usually mounted just below the chest of the Zoid that equips it and built directly into the chassis, making them well protected. Shock cannons are compact, high calibre, extremely powerful and have a semi-automatic rate of fire, but they're generally fixed facing directly foreward, necessitating the Zoid to rotate its entire body to aim the weapon.
