Overview
The Gun Sniper is identified as a "Velociraptor" type Zoid - or, rather, the fictional "Velociraptor" monster that was popularised by the first two Jurassic Park movies during the 1990s. The films portrayed their "Raptors" as swift, cunning, man-sized pack hunters. In reality, the Velociraptor was barely two feet tall and not particularly smart or fast.
As befitting its name, the Gun Sniper is designed for long-range precision fire, its main weapon being the 144mm sniper rifle concealed in its tail. However, this is far from its only role, as it carries an assortment of support weapons, including a pair of missile pods on its back and a pair of wrist-mounted gatling guns. It sports average speed but good manouvreability, and it can use the thrusters on its back to make booster-assisted leaps. Due to its small size and light armour, it's not very effective in close-range combat.
