- This episode lends its name to the ninth Viz Chaotic Century R1 DVD, which is also the only DVD to borrow its title from an episode of the series.
- Apparantly the Helic Republic will use 3½ inch floppies in the year ZAC30-something, a data storage format that was already outdated when the episode was made back in the early 2000s.
- Dr. D mentions the Saicurtis by name in this episode; however, it never actually appears in the anime.
