A Monster Awakens is the forty-seventh episode of the Zoids: Chaotic Century anime series. In this episode, the Guardian Force, Republican and Imperial armies join forces to prevent the ressurrection of Raven's Geno Saurer.

Notes

• The military tactics on display in this episode make even less sense than usual in this series. Deploying those hundreds of Zoids at point blank range along with Van, Irvine and Thomas to dogpile the Geno Breaker the second it emerged, with backup stationed in and around the canyon to box the Geno Breaker in, would have made a lot more sense than using indirect fire from outside the canyon.
• In the scene where Raven's Geno Breaker snatches up Irvine's Command Wolf, the typically stubby arm-mounts for the X-Breakers suddenly and hilariously extend several times beyond their normal length.
• Raven murders five innocent soldiers in this episode, vapourizing them with a charged particle beam originally intended for Van prior to making his getaway.
• The Geno Breaker is often mistaken by fans for a flight-capable Zoid. As shown in this episode, the Geno Breaker isn't capable of true flight, but actually makes booster-assisted leaps.
