Zoid Magnite (also known as Zoimagnite) is a mineral found on Planet Zi.

Overview

Zoid Magnite is a rare mineral, which can be found in the craters of active volcanos. The unprocessed ore is shiny, blue and crystalline in appearence, extremely heat resistant and durable, being undamaged by submersion in molten lava. It has many special properties. Fragments of raw Zoid magnite can revive a severely injured Organoid, restoring it to full health. When processed, it can be made into an extremely tough alloy and used for Zoid armour.

History

Chaotic Century

After a feirce battle with Raven and his Saber Tiger, Zeke was severely damaged and on the brink of death. Desperate for a cure, Van sought out Dr. D, who informed him that he could find some Zoid Magnite in the crater of Mount Osa to cure the Organoid. With the assistance of Moonbay and her Gustav, they were able to retrieve a fragment of Zoid Magnite and narrowly escape before the volcano erupted. Zeke was subsequently revived by the mineral.

Years later, Raven fought with Rease, who used a holographic simulation to inform him of the Guardian Force's Delta Formation strategy. In the process, Raven learned that Shadow has a time limit for how long it can remain merged with the Geno Breaker. The strain nearly killed the Organoid, and Rease offered Raven a fragment of Zoid Magnite to revive it, but Raven refused, preferring Shadow's death to accepting her help. Shadow was able to recover on its own.

New Century

The Doc utilized Zoid Magnite in the construction of his Hovercargo's hull. He boasted its durability, stating it allowed his Hovercargo to withstand the extreme pressure of the deep sea.
