Prior to the creation of the [[Geno Saurer (Battle Story|Geno Saurer]], all Tyrannosaurus-type Zoids were based on this Hybrid wild type, as [[Wild Purebred T-Rex|Purebred]]s were regarded as being too vicious to tame. (What exactly they were hybridized ''with'' is never explained.) It is distinguished from the Purebred by strengthened back and legs, which enable it to stand in an upright posture. Zoids such as the Godos, Gojulas, Death Saurer, Deadborder and God Kaiser are based on the Wild Hybrid T-Rex.
