* Mt. Iselina is mentioned in this episode. This is yet another hint that ties New Century and Chaotic Century together in the same continuity.
* How the fuck did Brad survive that giant explosion?!
* Dr. Laon complains that no pilot in the Backdraft can bring out the Shadow Fox's potential. Presumably he's never met Vega...
* This is the only time one of the Blitz team's Zoids have been taken out by a Strike Laser Claw.
