Mount Iselina is a large mountain located somewhere in the [[Guylos Empire (Anime)|Guylos Empire]], and it can be inferred from the Zoids: New Century anime that Mount Iselina is part of the [[Mackaray Mountains|Mackaray Mountain range]]. The terrain is known to be treacherous, and is excaberated by the perpetual fog cover that surrounds the mountain. Mount Iselina is a place shrouded in rumours and mystery, and was believed by many to be home to a fearsome monster that lurked in the fog. This myth was deliberately perpetuated by the villagers who lived on Mount Iselina, in order to scare away potential invaders; in reality, the monster was merely an illusion staged by a single [[Godos (Chaotic Century Anime)|Godos]] that was used to guard the village. The village at Mount Iselina was attacked by the [[Death Stinger (Chaotic Century Anime)|Death Stinger]], but fortunately, the inhabitants were evacuated just in time. Hundreds of years later, Mount Iselina was used by the Backdraft Group as a base, and it was at this base that [[Doctor Laon (New Century Anime)|Doctor Laon]] created the [[Shadow Fox (New Century Anime)|Shadow Fox]].
