 Prozen and Lt. Hardin arrive at a meeting with Prime Minister Homaleff and a council of other politicians in the Imperial government. He arrogantly walks past them and turns his back on the throne of the Emperor, to Homaleff's disgust. Prozen begins with the formalities, but one of the politicians asks him to dispense with them and get to the point. Prozen informs them that Prince Rudolf has been killed by an elite squad of asassins from the Republic. As proof of his claim, Prozen presents the Imperial Ring. While the politicians are struck with grief, Prozen places the Imperial Ring on his finger and takes a seat on the throne of the Emperor! The Prime Minister calls Prozen out on his inappropriate behavior, but Prozen condecendingly reminds him that, as per the words of Emperor Zeppelin, if anything were to happen to Prince Rudolf, then Prozen, as regent, would take the throne. As Prozen declares himself the new Emperor of the Guylos Empire, Prime Minister Homaleff informs him that, until his coronation ceremony has been held, Prozen does not ''officially'' bear the title of the Emperor, and holds no more authority than the rest of the council.

After the battle, the objective behind Raven's mission is revealed: an Imperial science team arrives to salvage the Zoid Cores from the Zoids destroyed by the Geno Saurer.

Moonbay and Rudolf ask her if she's okay, but she insists that she's fine. Zeke awakens, sensing danger, when suddenly, Albert and his Hel Digunner erupt from the sand in front of them! Moonbay slams the breaks and Irvines wakes up Van, warning him that the Hel Digunners are probably out to kidnap Rudolf. They try to escape, but Albert's Hel Digunner runs up alongside the Gustav. He captures Zeke with an electromagnetic net and scoops him up in the Hel Digunner's jaws. Van and Irvine scramble to their Zoids as the mercenary burrows back underground.

He heads to the Geno Saurer, and Shadow begins to follow him, but Raven orders it to stay behind. He doesn't need Shadow to carry out such a minor task.
