Along with the [[Guysack]], the Godos forms the bulk of the standard troops of the Republican army. It is armed with a basic assortment of small-bore particle cannons on its hips, back and tail, and a pair of opposable, clamp-like hands. However, its relatively small size meant it was no match for larger, more advanced Zoids such as the [[Saber Tiger (Chaotic Century Anime)|Saber Tiger]] or [[Death Stinger (Chaotic Century Anime)|Death Stinger]]. Owing to its loosely-humanoid posture and dexterity, it could easily be modified for civilian use, such as construction.
