Though nominally a Tyrannosaurus-type Zoid, the Geno Breaker bears only an extremely superficial resemblance to one. It can more accurately be described as faster, more compact version of the [[Death Saurer]], with which it shares much of its overall aesthetic; particularly in the design of its head, shoulders, chest and hindlimbs. Whereas the Death Saurer was clearly inspired by ''Godzilla'', the horizontal posture of the Geno Breaker reflects the cultural awareness of the new scientific consensus regarding the nature of dinosaurs, which was popularized during the 1990s by the first two ''Jurassic Park'' films. The "comb" on its head and its featherlike boosters also give it a birdlike appearence.
