The Zoids EX Doujinshi is a continuation of the [[Zoids: Chaotic Century (Manga)|Zoids: Chaotic Century]] manga, written by Michiro Ueyama. As it is a Doujinshi, and not a product officially licensed by Takara-Tomy, it is non-canonical and is, for all intents and purposes, fanfiction. It does, however, have the unique status of being fanfic written by the original author of the manga, blurring the line between canon and non-canon.

Fanfics of this sort tend to exist simply for the author to showcase their badass fan character and/or custom Zoid; expect to see the canon characters reduced to background noise, cannon fodder, love interests or some combination of the former.
