As a Blade Liger, [[Caesar]] could use its shield in a variety of unconventional ways; by projecting it beneath itself to surf on top of the water, projecting it through the rear to propel it under the water, and projecting its shield through its blades in other to repel an enemy Zoid without injuring it. The latter technique was particularly useful in for dealing with the Hel Digunner and Redler that attacked the city of Mule, a situation where destroying the Zoids would have been politically disastrous.
