Zaber Fang SS was a Zoid piloted by Karl Schubaltz in the Chaotic Century anime.

Overview
Karl Schubaltz' personal Zaber Fang, this Zoid sported Schubaltz' trademark grey/red/black paint job and giant beam gatling. Schubaltz was a skilled pilot capable of bringing out the best in his Zoids, and put the Zaber Fang's speed, agility and attack power to good use in its limited engagements.

History
Chaotic Century
Its first appearance was in episode 29, "Heroes of the Sky", when Schubaltz was seen training with it against three Black Redlers. It reappeared in episode 59, "The Capital Collapses", when it joined forces with Rob Herman's Shield Liger to try to stop the Death Stinger destroying New Helic City. Since they were tertiary characters fighting the series' Big Bad, their efforts were doomed to failure, but Schubaltz and his Zaber Fang fought tenaciously, peppering the Death Stinger with gatling fire even as the larger Zoid crushed the smaller in its pincer and threw it away like a ragdoll.

Overview
The player controls a Zoid pilot. At the beginning of the game, the pilot's commander informs the pilot that he should head north immediately, due to an SOS message they received. However, the SOS was incomplete due to some interference, so the player must search out its origins as well.

The battle system is pretty much the same as the "Chuuou Tairiku no Tatakai" game - allowing the player to scroll 360 degrees to find and attack enemy Zenevas Zoids. However, unlike the previous game, you can't see the enemy Zoids on the overworld map; the battles are completely random.

Overview
The Raynos is a Pterosaur-type Zoid, a family of prehistoric reptiles that are related to but are not actually dinosaurs. Though nominally identified as a Pteranodon, its design incorporates this species' distinctive head crest with the tail and teeth of another pterosaur species, the Rhamphorhynchus, thus more resembling the chimeric pterosaur monster of pop-culture than any particular pterosaur.

The Raynos is an impressive dogfighter, armed with machineguns on its chest and tail, able to move faster than any other Zoid in existence at a staggering Mach 3.3 thanks to the high output thruster on its back, and capable of impressive aerobatics. The Raynos is a challenging Zoid to control, but in the hands of a skilled pilot who could utilize its full potential, it is invaluable on the battlefield.

Toy Release Info
Raynos is a medium-size wind-up kit, powered by a coilspring motor; when its motor is wound, Raynos walks forward, chomping its jaw and flapping its wings. The wings are jointed in the middle, and the outermost half has a small degree of up-and down movement independent of that provided by the motor. Each kit includes five sprues of parts, two runners of 8 rubber caps, a wind-up motor, a translucent cockpit canopy, a pilot figure, an instruction manual, and a sheet of stickers.

Original Japanese Release
RHI-10 Raynos<br>
This version of the kit, produced in 1989, was molded in light blue, grey and off-white plastic, and had a smoke-colored canopy, white caps and a gold pilot.

New Japanese Release
RZ-039 Raynos<br>
Sold in Japan in 1999, this version was cast in light turquoise, grey and silver, with an orange canopy, black caps and grey pilot. This version of the kit had tiny balls added to the formerly very sharp wingtips for safety reasons; additionally, this and all subsequent variants feature a molding error which causes the right wing to sit higher than the left. The NJR variant was rereleased in the US and Canada as part of the New American Release in 2002.
#039 Raynos Holotech<br>
This release sold in the US and Canada around 2003 was molded in transluscent turquoise, dark grey and silver. It included an orange cockpit canopy, grey pilot and black caps.

2005 Dinosaur Expo
Molded in bone-white, coffee-brown and silver, this variant was offered at a Japanese museum expo in 2005. It has an orange canopy, grey pilot and mulberry-colored caps. This variant is often referred to as "Museum Raynos" or "Bone Raynos."
Appearances in non-model merchandise
Two different Raynos gashapons were produced - a "roosting" one included with the Japanese Hovercargo DX playset, and a smaller, flying version which included a tiny display stand. A vinyl figure of Raynos was included in the Japanese battle card game. Raynos also got its own action figure, and a sticker puzzle produced by Hasbro featured a Raynos launching from a Hovercargo.
The Hellrunner (referred to as Merda in the original Japanese release) is a dinosaur type Zoid.

Overview
Identified as a non-specific "dinosaur" type, the Hellrunner resembles small, nimble, meat eating dinosaurs such the Coelophysis. During an era where most theropod-inspired Zoids stood in the outdated Godzilla posture, the Hellrunner stands with its tail and body carried parallel to the ground, reflecting the modern scientific consensus, which was just beginning to trickle into pop-cultural depictions of dinosaurs at the time.

Although an early design, it is still one of the fastest ground-based Zoids ever built, capable of reaching speeds in excess of 400 kilometres per hour. Its primary armament is a beam cannon it carries on its back, which can be swapped out for a missile pod to increase its firepower; it also carries a pair of small machineguns beneath the cockpit as support weapons. Its high mobility compensates for its light frame and armour. It is used for hit and run operations and attacks at high speed.
The player can choose to fight or try to run away. The battles themselves require scrolling around 360 degrees to find and then fire upon the enemies. The enemies are shown on a radar in the lower left box along with the player's Zoid's HP bars. The lower right box shows the results at the end of a battle.
Being released in 1986, "The Battle Begins" had very primitive graphics. It did, however, have a fairly complex story to back up the gameplay. The Blue Zoids have adopted you into their rankings and find your fearlessness and cunning to be a valuable asset in the war against the Red Zoids. The plan is to have you "merge minds" with Zoidzilla and drop you into the heart of Red Zoid territory to wipe them out.

Unfortunately your aircraft carrying yourself and Zoidzilla is shot down and Zoidzilla breaks into six pieces. The Red Zoids take these pieces and bury them away under their cities so Zoidzilla can't be recovered. You did not die though, and you find a lone SpiderZoid to pilot. You then have to make your way into the Red Zoid cities to recover Zoidzilla and face the horrible Red Zoids.
